Recently opened on the Las Vegas Strip, Arcadia Earth is the first immersive environmental art exhibit to take visitors on a journey through the environmental challenges of our planet - experienced through large scale art installations and the futuristic lens of augmented and virtual reality. Through art and technology, it expands the creative mediums through which we bring attention to these issues and inspires the public to drive positive change.
The new Las Vegas exhibit was adapted from its NYC predecessor to address some of the key environmental issues in Nevada. So for the entire month of April, the Arcadia Earth exhibit will highlight the work of the local organizations leading the charge on climate action and invite you to ‘Do One Thing’ to support them. More trees help keep neighborhoods cooler, provide fresh produce to local Food Desert communities who live more than a mile from a supermarket and don’t own a car, and add canopy to minority communities who have 33% less trees on average than majority white communities.
